Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Parkixo collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use the Parkixo mobile application, website, parking marketplace, support services, and related features.

Effective: July 13, 2026 · Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Scope and who we are

Parkixo operates a parking marketplace that connects people who need parking with individuals or businesses that make parking spaces available. “Parkixo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the entity operating the Parkixo service.

This policy applies to the Parkixo mobile app, website, customer support, parking listings, bookings, payments, communications, and any other service that links to this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account information

  • Name, email, phone number, password credentials, user role, and account preferences.
  • Profile photo and verification information when you provide them.
  • Authentication, login, and security information.

Parking listing information

  • Parking title, description, address, latitude, longitude, timezone, price, availability, parking type, vehicle-size suitability, features, and total spaces.
  • Parking photos, entrance instructions, nearby landmarks, and other listing details.

Booking and transaction information

  • Booking dates, times, status, parking location, cancellations, refunds, fees, taxes, and payment status.
  • Transaction references received from payment providers. Parkixo does not intend to store complete card numbers or banking credentials.

Location information

  • Approximate or precise device location when you grant permission.
  • Parking coordinates selected through current location, address search, a map pin, or manual entry.

Communications and content

  • Support tickets, replies, reviews, ratings, cancellation reasons, messages, and uploaded photos.

Device and technical information

  • IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, timestamps, crash reports, diagnostic logs, notification tokens, and security events.

3. How we use information

  • Create, maintain, authenticate, and secure user accounts.
  • Publish, search, manage, approve, review, deactivate, or remove parking listings.
  • Process bookings, payments, fees, taxes, payouts, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Provide maps, directions, nearby-parking results, and location-based features.
  • Send booking confirmations, payment updates, support replies, and service notifications.
  • Provide support, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and respond to illegal or unsafe listings.
  • Enforce our terms, marketplace rules, and cancellation policy.
  • Improve performance, reliability, features, and user experience.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and law-enforcement obligations.

Where required, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, legal obligations, safety and fraud prevention, and other lawful business purposes.

4. Location information

Parkixo may request location permission to show nearby parking, calculate distance, select coordinates, and assist with navigation. You can deny or withdraw location permission in your device settings.

You may still be able to search by address, move a map pin, or enter coordinates manually when current-location permission is unavailable.

Parking coordinates may be shown to users as reasonably necessary to find or navigate to a booked parking space.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Razorpay, Stripe, or another provider applicable to the user's country. Those providers may collect card, bank, UPI, billing, identity-verification, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under their own privacy policies.

Parkixo may retain limited information such as payment identifiers, amount, currency, status, refund details, and settlement references, but does not intend to store complete payment-card credentials.

6. How we share information

  • Marketplace participants: information reasonably needed to complete and manage a booking may be shared between the person booking and the person providing the space.
  • Service providers: hosting, storage, database, mapping, geocoding, email, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, fraud prevention, and payment providers.
  • Legal and safety purposes: where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Parkixo, property, or public safety.
  • Business transfers: in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
  • With your consent: when you direct or authorize us to share information.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our advertising or tracking practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide required controls.

7. Data retention

We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction records, complete refunds and payouts, handle disputes, prevent fraud, satisfy tax and accounting duties, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

Some information may remain in backups or legally required records after account deletion. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transmission where supported, authentication, access controls, restricted administrative access, and security monitoring.

No system is completely secure. Protect your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of eligible personal information, withdraw consent, and complain to a privacy authority.

We may verify your identity before completing a request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for transactions, disputes, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, or other lawful reasons.

Notifications

You can manage push-notification permission in your device settings. Essential booking, payment, security, or support updates may still be sent through email or other available channels.

Photos

You may replace or remove your profile photo and manage parking photos where those controls are available. Removed content may remain temporarily in backups or legally required records.

10. Account deletion

You may request account deletion through Parkixo's profile or account settings, where available, or by emailing support@parkixo.com.

We may require active bookings, refunds, payouts, disputes, suspected fraud, or legal obligations to be resolved before deletion. Transaction records may be retained when legally required or reasonably permitted.

11. Children's privacy

Parkixo is not intended for children under 18, and users must have legal capacity to enter parking and payment transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.

12. International data transfers

Parkixo and its service providers may process or store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards intended to protect cross-border transfers in accordance with applicable law.

13. Third-party services

Parkixo may use or link to independent map, geocoding, payment, email, notification, app-store, analytics, navigation, and hosting services. Their information practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Parkixo, technology, laws, or business requirements change. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
